🍳 How to Make the Perfect Omelette – Easy & Tasty!

An omelette is the ultimate quick meal—made with just eggs and whatever fillings you have on hand. It’s soft on the outside, warm and flavorful inside, and totally satisfying.

You can keep it plain or load it with cheese, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, or even sardines and sausage!

🛒 Basic Ingredients:

  • 2–3 eggs
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter or cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp bell pepper (optional)
  • Cheese, sardines, sausage, spinach (optional fillings)

👨🏾‍🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Beat the Eggs
Crack eggs into a bowl. Add salt and pepper. Whisk until smooth and bubbly.

Step 2: Prep Fillings
Chop all vegetables and get fillings ready. Lightly fry onions and tomatoes for extra flavor (optional).

Step 3: Cook the Eggs
Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour in the eggs and swirl to coat the pan.

Step 4: Add Fillings
When the eggs start to set (but are still slightly runny on top), add your fillings on one side.

Step 5: Fold and Finish
Gently fold the omelette in half. Let cook for another 30–60 seconds. Slide onto a plate and serve hot!

🥪 Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with toast or fried bread
  • Add avocado or plantains on the side
  • Pair with tea, cocoa, or coffee

💡Marrone’s Tips:

  • Don’t overcook the eggs—they should be soft, not rubbery.
  • Use non-stick pans or well-seasoned cast iron.
  • For a fluffy omelette, add 1 tbsp of milk or cream to your eggs.
